We were crossing Rue St-Denis at Avenue du Mont-Royal when came across a man playing the accordion on the corner. We asked if we could take his photo; he smiled and said (in french): “Everyone wants to take my photo! Must be the music.”

we were in the main square in colonia, uruguay. he really wanted both of the dogs to look at the camera. we tried a few times, but they just wouldn’t.

“saw him in the lower east side sitting outside this little shop. went up to him because he had a cool hat, was smoking a cigar and had an eye patch. had to convince him to take a photo with the patch on – he wanted to take it off because he said he looked like the terminator. said he used to play the bongos at bluenote and that i should check it out.” – pitythecool

We had a full conversation with him; he doesn’t speak English and we don’t speak Spanish.

he looks like he might bust a cap in your ass or just tell you to fuck off in spanish.
